Jeremie Groleau is a fingerstyle acoustic guitarist based in Quebec, Canada, with a lifelong passion for the instrument. Inspired by legends like Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, and Buster B. Jones, he has developed a unique style rooted in fingerstyle traditions. Over the years, his love for the guitar has driven him to create original compositions, creative arrangements, and captivating acoustic covers.
His debut album Uphill, recorded in collaboration with world-renowned bluegrass musicians Michael Cleveland, Justin Moses, and Scott Vestal, earned him the 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award for Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year. Jeremie also performs as part of the folk/bluegrass duo Cam & Jay, where he showcases his fingerstyle guitar compositions and mandolin playing alongside Cam on fiddle.
He performs on his custom Baron steel-string guitar, equipped with the SGI NS3 pickup, delivering an exceptionally natural and authentic acoustic tone.
